This paper aims to study the juridical nature of the environmental administrative liability as to its understanding by Brazil´s Superior Court of Justice´s precedents. On the notice that the Court has overruled its preview understanding on the matter in order to align to the conception of the environmental administrative liability as of a subjective liability, this paper aims to study such overruling and the key precedents that established it, as such the reasons adopted by the Court on the matter.References
