Abstract

This paper originates within the framework of the new regulation of public contracts in Spain, as an excuse to analyze the instrument of self-cleaning measures within said field, and specifically they case of compliance programs. In this sense, said institutes are analyzed from the perspective of public policy and general interest, to arrive at notions such as the regulation of self-regulation, and thus head towards an idea of public compliance, as a possible tool for restructuring public ethics.
