Expropriation of public assets in the light of the federative principle

Abstract

This article is a summary, reviewed and updated, of our master´s thesis about the expropriation of public assets. It is composed of three topics. The first topic approaches the legal possibility of the exercise of expropriation powers among federative entities; while the second topic covers the limits and the conditions to be meet for the legal validity of this particular kind of expropriation. The third topic presents our conclusions about the main aspects of the theme that is the object of this article.
